Training
Kihon
"Kihon" means "basics". This is the foundation of all Karate training and covers empty-handed strikes, blocks, kicks, stances and movement.
Kata
"Kata" means "patterns" or "forms". Kata incorporates various Kihon techniques starting from simple to more complex combinations.
Kumite
"Kumite" means "sparring". This is where you train with a partner, using the techniques learned from the Kihon and Kata.
Competition
There are three competition streams: Kata, non-contact and full-contact Kumite. Students have access to the largest local and international competitive arenas.
