Fighting Opportunities

 

An important element of karate is the fighting aspect of the art. Our training caters to all levels of fighting ability and student motivation.

 

Dojo level fighting

  • Dojo sparring (for beginners to advanced students, taken at a level specific to each students abilities)

  • Fight training (specific training for advanced students or those wishing to compete)

  • Dojo tournaments (inter dojo tournaments designed to provide entry level fight experience)

  • Branch tournaments (intermediate/novice tournaments designed for emerging fighters or first fight novices)

  • National Tournaments (advanced/intermediate level competition for those wanting to compete for New Zealand titles and gain recognition and potential consideration for New squad level)

Asia Pacific Level

  • Asia Pacific Tournaments (for seasoned National tournament level fighters)

International Level

  • World tournaments (for seasoned National and International tournament level fighters)

  • All Japan tournaments (for seasoned National and International tournament level fighters)

  • K1 (for seasoned International tournament level fighters)
